LA Volleyball | Co-Ed Sports League | ZogSports LA Volleyball With trained referees, co-ed teams and weekly post-game happy hours, it's no wonder why we're LA's favorite Volleyball league. Volleyball Hero V2 See the Rules! Rosters of full team registrations don't need to be finalized until start of regular season!

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Nights

Games run between 7:00pm and 10:30pm.

Season tentatively begins the week of June 26th

The official game schedule does not come out until registration is over, but here is a sneak peak at what you can expect:

  • Teams play once a week on Monday/Tuesday and/or Wednesday between 7:00pm and 10:30pm.
  • Games will last up to 60 minutes
  • Your team's start time may vary each week and the may be two games per week once a season. We try our best to create a balanced schedule for all teams based on the permits we receive
  • Games start tentatively the Week of June 26th
  • 6 on 6 (co-ed with a minimum of 2 females on the court at a time)
  • 3 Matches that last 60 minutes total, two teams per hour, head-to-head matches
  • Three games (all three games count), rally scoring to 25, win by two, straight 27
  • 1 scrimmage game, then 6 regular Season Games and then Playoffs (about Half of teams qualify for the playoffs)
  • Generally individual teams will have roughly 8 to 10 players on the roster

There are three different levels of play: Casual, Sorta Players and Players.

  • Casual: You have a drop of competitiveness in your blood and it’ll show on the court. Winning isn’t everything, just as long as there’s a rematch over a friendly game of flip cup.
  • Sorta Players: You’re competitive but fun. You love to play and you love to socialize. A great balance of sport and social.
  • Players: You’re in it to win it. Whether you want a consistent time to ball every week or just want to stay in shape, we’ll make sure the competition is good enough to keep your skills fresh.

LEVELS OF PLAY

PLAYERS - Very good athletes and Volleyball Players who play a lot and know all the finer
               points of the rules

SORTA PLAYERS - Pretty good athletes who play some pick-up volleyball every now and then

CASUAL - Average athlete who likes to play some volleyball, but out there more to have fun

ZogSports will try to accommodate all team and individual player requests for Level of Play, but cannot guarantee all requests.  We will not place an individual player on a team with other people that registered more than one level (above or below) his/her registration level.  In order to create the best possible experience for the whole league ZogSports will place returning teams in the division we feel most appropriate.
